Food and Drink
Exmoor has some of the finest restaurants and pubs, not to mention tea shoppes to die for!. A list of recommendations is available in all cottages (each tried personally, and regularly by ourselves!) For those who enjoy catering for themselves, an excellent selection of local produce is always available in Dulverton – from freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries, to picnic food made to order. We have high quality meat at the local butchers, and fresh fish being available twice weekly in the town high street.
If you would like a quiet night in with a bottle of wine and a take-away, we have a fish and chip shop, and a superb Thai restaurant which also provides an excellent take-away service. Exmoor Food Festival is becoming a major annual event in October, with many of the local restaurants and food producers taking part

Dunster is a beautiful medieval village set in the heart of the Park. The village boasts an 11th century castle and the well known landmark - the Old Yarn Market which is shown here in the foreground of the picture. There is a wide selection of shops and goods and crafts provided by local artisans. Dunster is popular with visitors and locals alike and hosts many events throughout the year. There are over 200 listed buildings in Dunster, a must to visit if you are in the area.
There is a range of restaurants and pubs which offer a wide variety of culinary delights - and very often offer local Exmoor produce and organic foods.
