Come off the M5 at Junction 27
- Take right A361 to Tiverton/Exmoor at the roundabout (right hand turn off if you have travelled from the North).
- Stay on the dual carriageway until you reach the roundabout (about 5 miles).
- Turn right onto the A396 and follow signs to Dulverton. After about 6 miles you will come to a left hand turn for Dulverton, the B3222.
Directions from Dulverton
- Over the river bridge, drive up the high street and turn left at the Post Office into Lady Street (signposted Lynton, Tarr Steps & Exford).
- Follow this road, with the River on your left for a mile.
- You will then come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork, sign posted Hawkridge. About 100 yards on, take the right turn, signposted Ashwick. If you go over the white bridge you have missed the turn!
- Carry on up the hill for 3/4 mile until you come to a turning on your left . There is a telegraph pole on the corner, a no-through road sign, and a small wooden sign saying private road to Draydon , Ashwick and Mounsey on the left, and wooden sign on the right saying “Springfield”.
- Draydon farmhouse and Livery yard is the first property you will come to. The cottages are just past the farm on your right, and your key will either be in the door, or under the bin.
- We shall look forward to seeing you soon after arrival. If you are late arriving we shall find you on Sunday.
Draydon Cottages are within a 3 hour drive from London and the Midlands. The nearest airports are Bristol and Exeter, and railway stations are at Taunton, Barnstaple and Tiverton. All links have access to car hire.
